Apostolic Youth Ministry poetry

Oh heavenly Father,

So great is your love towards me that I can never understand,

That a mother's love is not but just a grain of sand.

With your love, you have seen the beauty beyond my ugliness

You have erased the stain of sin with your touch of Holiness.

Yes, you have sent your one and only son to give his life,

And inspite the evil I've done, he willingly paid the price.

Oh loving Father, you have always covered me with your hand

Even when I staid away, going my own way in this evil land.

I don't know why, but from you I am greatly blessed,

That's why I praise and adore you, Father of Rigtheousness.

Lord you have grant me favour of dinning with my enemies,

And pray to you that through me, your love they'll see.

As a Father who truly cares, you punish me when I disobey

On this hard road I pry for your grace to keep me in the right way.

Oh sweet heavenly Father, I just want to stay in the centre of your love

'Cause the day when I'll see you face to face

And you'll welcome me in your place, is all I am thinking of.
